Welcome to our May catch up post!
Ivan was laid off from work, so he took the opportunity to stay home with the girls for a couple of months. I went full time (temporarily!) to help compensate the lack of income. It was nice to have Ivan home and him and the girls really enjoyed the last few months. It was awesome to have him be able to participate in things he normally couldn't participate in while he was working.
First off - Emery's end of the year field trip to Wheeler Farm. I just love my little family so much!!
Haven's first of probably many to come, injuries from learning to walk - see the bruise on the bridge of her nose?
I take full advantage of throwing Haven in the ergo anytime I can. Now that she's crawling everywhere, she's not as much of a fan of being contained.
Spring time = clean up the flower beds and make them nice and pretty for the summer ... We let the big girls pick out their flowers and then they got to help Ivan plant them.
So pretty!
Selfies - at 3 and 6 yrs old already - these kids!!
We celebrated Mother's Day - Ivan and the girls know just how to make me happy - treats for my tummy!
Haven enjoying her food - she loves any and all food
Family trip to the zoo
Selfies during play dates too!
Oh, a few selfies of me and the girls - I wonder where they get it from... haha
I'm in a FB group of Nov '07 Mama's that I've been friends with since I was pregnant with Emery. We decided to do pen pals, so Emery is writing out her first letter to her pen pal, Felipe, who lives in Illinois.
Family trip to the Children's Museum. Lucky for me, I still have a ton of vacation time, so I took full advantage of it so I could still participate in the fun stuff, even though I was back to work full time (temporarily, I mentioned that anytime someone talked about me being full time)
Haven's first pony tail - if you look really, really, close, you just MIGHT see it. It's 2 months later, and she still doesn't have enough hair for a pony.
A little game of Hungry, Hungry Hippo! Notice Haven trying to play - she want's to do everything her big sisters do.
Car ride nappies ...
They are worn out!
