June Catch Up

We have had 2 trash diggers - Paisley and Haven.  Below are pictures of what I walked into after being out of the kitchen for less than 5 minutes!  Haven had gotten into the recycle bin and played with yogurt - and gotten her little hand prints all over the trash can and the floor!  Gotta love it!
Haven's hand prints looks like a raccoon!
Emery had her field day the day before the last day of school.  I was so happy I was able to go - they had all kinds of fun water activities for the kids.
Emery's going down the black water slide - it's covered with dish soap and freezing water!

Emery goes down the bouncy house water slide for the first time ..

Paisley took a turn too!  She only went down once because she wasn't a fan of getting her face wet - they are my kids for sure ;)

My sweet girls - they sure do love each other so much!

There is nothing better than a sleeping baby ...
First trip to the pool for the summer ...

A little fun at the neighborhood park/splash pad

Emery is obsessed with her Ipod and we find her in the most random places of the house on the dang thing.  She sat on the kitchen counter for close to an hour - in this exact position!
She's a trash digger and a toilet paper messer maker!
Look closely - do you notice the black/brown stuff on Haven's cheeks?  I did when I got her up for the day and thought she ate poop.  I was looking everywhere trying to figure out what it could be that was on her cheeks.

Ta da!  She's also a crib eater!!
Tired toddler!

I asked the big girls to keep Haven in the living room while I was cleaning up a broken bowl (or two!) in the kitchen.  They sure did contain her alright ..
I always try to get a cute pic of the girls in the tub - I am not very successful ...
I took the big girls to Movies in the Park - we had a great time watching Frozen outside under the stars
Heading off to enjoy some fun in the sun!

Playing hairstylist ...

Seven Peaks Fun!

Haven finally learned on how to hold her own bottle.
I checked on the big girls one morning before leaving for work - they were sleeping together so peacefully
Haven had a rough day ...
I just love her so much!

May Catch Up

Welcome to our May catch up post!

Ivan was laid off from work, so he took the opportunity to stay home with the girls for a couple of months.  I went full time (temporarily!) to help compensate the lack of income.  It was nice to have Ivan home and him and the girls really enjoyed the last few months.  It was awesome to have him be able to participate in things he normally couldn't participate in while he was working.

First off - Emery's end of the year field trip to Wheeler Farm.  I just love my little family so much!!
Haven's first of probably many to come, injuries from learning to walk - see the bruise on the bridge of her nose?
I take full advantage of throwing Haven in the ergo anytime I can.  Now that she's crawling everywhere, she's not as much of a fan of being contained.
Spring time = clean up the flower beds and make them nice and pretty for the summer ... We let the big girls pick out their flowers and then they got to help Ivan plant them.

So pretty!
Selfies - at 3 and 6 yrs old already - these kids!!

We celebrated Mother's Day - Ivan and the girls know just how to make me happy - treats for my tummy!
Haven enjoying her food - she loves any and all food
Family trip to the zoo

Selfies during play dates too!
Oh, a few selfies of me and the girls - I wonder where they get it from... haha

I'm in a FB group of Nov '07 Mama's that I've been friends with since I was pregnant with Emery.  We decided to do pen pals, so Emery is writing out her first letter to her pen pal, Felipe, who lives in Illinois.
Family trip to the Children's Museum.  Lucky for me, I still have a ton of vacation time, so I took full advantage of it so I could still participate in the fun stuff, even though I was back to work full time (temporarily, I mentioned that anytime someone talked about me being full time)

Haven's first pony tail - if you look really, really, close, you just MIGHT see it.  It's 2 months later, and she still doesn't have enough hair for a pony.
A little game of Hungry, Hungry Hippo!  Notice Haven trying to play - she want's to do everything her big sisters do.
Car ride nappies ...
They are worn out!
